This quite strange painting, rich and colorful, paraphrases the work of the German expressionist Emil Nolde.
The painting could be described as “landscape”. In the foreground there are flowers of lupine. At a middle distance you will see red house that contrasts the dark, evening sky. Yellow rays of light are falling from its windows. Sunset – colored clouds are running over the horizon.
You may view this painting from two sides. On one hand you will see a quiet evening, smell the flowers, you will feel safer because of the lights of the house, the rose and red sky will just reflect the color of the sun. On the other hand there is some darkness, red sky suggests worry and sadness, light windows of the house mean there is some mystery hidden inside and the lupine flowers create an unrealistic, thrilling climate.
This work will be perfect for simplicity lovers and may become a central part of an interior design. The visitors may stop in front and think about the details of the work.
